Titi Alvarez Saravia, 51, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
She was born May 2, 1969 in Guatemala to Marco Tulio and Ines (Salazar) Alvarez. She grew up in San Mauricu, Suchitepequez, Guatemala.
Titi was united in marriage to Samuel Saravia on March 4, 1996. Five children were blessed to this union: Adelso, Estuardo, Ivania, Veronica and Fran. They moved to Lexington, Nebraska from Guatemala in 1994. Titi worked as a cleaning lady for various hotels for many years before she had a stroke in 2010 and retired due to her health.
Titi loved her church and was a faithful member to Iglesia De Dios Camino De Santidad. She enjoyed serving her church, always willing to help out. She loved cooking and being adventurous, looking forward to travelling. Her family, church, and faith were always an important part of her life. Above all, Titi has left a tremendous legacy of love, faith to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel of Lexington; three sons, Adelso of Lexington, Estuardo of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Fran of Lexington; two daughters, Veronica Savaria of Guatemala and Ivania (Leehanyi) Baptista of Allentown, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren with two on the way; four brothers, Rudy (Genara) Alvarez of Kearney, Huber (Emma Laticia) Alvarez of Lexington, Gilmer (Brenda) Alvarez of Kearney and Marco Alvarez of Guatemala; three sisters, Soila (Ramon) Alvarez of San Francisco, California, Blanca Alvarez of Guatemala and Elbia Alvarez of Guatemala; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Private Family Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington, Nebraska. The funeral service will be streamed live through Facebook live on the Reynolds Love Facebook page.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 3-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we will adhere to members of a household who live together may be seated together, but maintain six feet of a part of social distance from other parties.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
