Salud Ibarra Aguado, 55, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on December 10, 1965 in El Fresno De Guadalupe, Mpio. Puruandiro Michoacan, Mexico, to Gabriel Ibarra and Ana Maria Aguado (Orozco) Cisneros.
Salud was united in marriage to Maria N. Gutierrez Magana on September 13, 1990 in Mexcio. Two children were blessed to this union: Yanet and Isaac. They made their home in Michoacan, Mexico. Salud moved to Lexington, Nebraska in 2003 to start a better life with his family following him in 2007. Once his family settled in Lexington, Salud worked for Paulsen, INC., working with the paving crew for over 15 years until he had to retire from health issues.
Salud loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed singing Karaoke and was a handy man who could fix about anything in his own way. He was a very religious man who was a Jehovah Witness and was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehova’s Witnesses in Lexington. Salud was a loyal servant of the Lord and his favorite bible passage was Isaiah 25:8.
“He will swallow up* death forever,+
And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces...
For Jehovah himself has spoken it.”
Salud has left a tremendous legacy of love, and faith to his family.
Survivors include his wife, Maria of Lexington; his children, Yanet (Abel) Curiel of Lexington and Isaac (Yunuen) Ibarra of Lexington; two grandchildren, Henry and Richard Curiel; mother, Ana Maria Aguado of Mexico; six brothers: Abel, Gabriel, Cruz, Juvenal and Juan Ibarra Aguado; seven sisters, Elvira, Rosa, Eloina, Lidia, Maria De Los Angeles, from Crete Nebraska, Teresa and Josefina Ibarra Aguado from Rifle Colorado; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Ibarra Cisneros and father in law, Gonzalo Gutierrez Magana.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
