Patsy L. Loschen, 84, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Bryan Medical Center – East Campus in Lincoln. She was born June 5, 1934 in Sumner, Nebraska to Luther and Wilmetta (Hyslop) Wing. Patsy was a 1953 graduate from Lexington High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin O. Loschen on June 18, 1953 in Lexington at Grace Lutheran Church. Three children were blessed to this marriage: Marvin E. (Butch), Susan and Tammy. Patsy and Marvin spent the majority of their lives in Lexington. Patsy spent twenty years as a truck driver with her husband. Marvin and Patsy last worked as owner operators for England Transportation. They traveled far and wide with many adventures. She was a cook at Lexington High School for ten years. She was also an Assistant Administrator at the Deshler and Valentine Good Samaritan Care Homes and a dietary supervisor at Westside Care Home now Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Patsy enjoyed playing Pinochle with their card club for over fifty years. She was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church and a member of her women’s church group. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Lexington. She never missed a high school class reunion and looked forward to seeing her classmates every year. She went to the Grand Generation Center several times a week to eat lunch, play cards and have a good time with friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends. With her friend, Anne, they had a weekly date for Sunday lunch and a movie. With her grandchildren she loved to go camping and play cards. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Lepert of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Michelle Lepert Khati, Brian Lepert, Shannon (Aaron) Lepert Mathis and Heather (Raul) Loschen Ochoa; four great-grandchildren, Augie Garcia, Jeman Khati, Rohan Khati, and Brookelynn Mathis; two brothers and one sister, Harvey (Betty) Wing of Gothenburg, Norma (Rex) Robison of Cozad, Charles Daniels of San Diego, California; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther Wing and Wilmetta Daniels Brown, her husband, Marvin; one son, Marvin (Butch); one daughter, Tammy and two brothers, L. Marvin Wing and Lee Daniels. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Erin Dunlavy and John Strackbein, PMA, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Grand Generation Center in Lexington, Nebraska.
