Linda Sue Ballheim, 60, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. Linda passed comfortably in Lexington at her oldest daughters home surrounded by family after a long battle with melanoma cancer. She fought long and hard for 11 years. Her faith in Jesus Christ was solid and everyone that knew and loved her saw her amazing faith. Linda was born October 28, 1959 in North Platte, NE. to Harold and Leta (Weiler) Larimore. Linda lived a long and full filling life. She was a daughter, a sister, a mom, a grandma, an aunt, a niece and a friend of many. Linda had a heart of gold and was always willing to help another even if that meant she had nothing. Linda was born and raised in Nebraska. Upon graduating High School Linda wanted to be a hair dresser. Her children remember spending time at her hair salon in the early years. She was known for cutting her own hair as well as her family and friends. Soon after, being a mom became Linda’s life. She preferred to stay home and raise her children rather then work. Linda was married to Curtis, Sara and Russell’s dad for ten plus years but found the love of her life Daryl Ballheim in the early 90’s. They were soon married, their two families becoming one. Each loved the other and their children very much and together they raised some amazing kids. Linda loved the color purple, bears, animals of all kind, her family and most importantly her grandchildren. Her family was her whole life.
