Jocelyn America Aguirre Vasquez

Jocelyn America Aguirre Vasquez, de 26 años, de Omaha, Nebraska, formalmente de Lexington falleció inesperadamente el 26 de mayo de 2021 en Guatemala.

Nació el 26 de enero de 1995 en Lexington, Nebraska de Patricio Aguirre-Carrillo y Anabela Vasquez-Esquival. Recibió su educación primaria de las Escuelas Públicas de Lexington hasta el 5° grado en la Primaria Sandoz y luego asistió a las Escuelas Públicas de Lexington, graduándose de la Escuela Secundaria de Lexington con la clase de 2013. Luego siguió una educación superior en la Universidad de Nebraska - Omaha, donde se graduó con un título en 2018 en Diseño Gráfico y Medios Digitales.

Después de graduarse, vivió con su hermano gemelo, Roger, trabajando para Proxibid, Inc.  

En su juventud, Jocelyn disfrutaba jugando baloncesto y fútbol. Disfrutaba estar al aire libre y pescar con su mejor amiga, Sarah. Se mantuvo activa yendo con su hermano gemelo al gimnasio y andando en bicicleta por los caminos. Le encantaba mirar la belleza de los árboles y dibujar. Tenía una sonrisa contagiosa y un corazón de oro. Joselyn amaba profundamente y fue amada aún más. Será extrañada por muchos.  

Jocelyn era miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Ann en Lexington.

Ella se va para celebrar su vida; sus padres, Patricio Aguirre-Carillo y Anabela Vasquez-Esquival; sus hermanos, Henry Aguirre Vasquez de Kearney y su hermano gemelo, Roger Aguirre Vasquez de Omaha; abuelos, Hilaria Carrillo, Efrain Vasquez y America Esquival todos de Guatemala; También le sobreviven numerosos tíos, tías, primos, familia extensa y muchos amigos.

Una misa de entierro cristiano será el martes 15 de junio de 2021 a las 3:00 pm en la iglesia católica de St. Ann en Lexington con el padre Matt Koperski, oficiando.   El funeral se transmitirá en vivo a través de la página de Facebook de Reynolds-Love Funeral Home.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 14 de junio de 2021 de 3 a 7 pm. Con un rosario a las 7:00 pm. En Reynolds-Love Funeral Home en Lexington.

El entierro será en el cementerio católico de St. Ann en Lexington.

Jocelyn America Aguirre Vasquez, 26, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Lexington passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2021 in Guatemala.

She was born January 26, 1995, in Lexington, Nebraska to Patricio Aguirre-Carrillo and Anabela Vasquez-Esquival. She received her primary education from Lexington Public Schools through the 5^th grade at Sandoz Elementary and then attended Lexington Public Schools, graduating from Lexington High School with the class of 2013. She then pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska – Omaha, where she graduated with a degree in 2018 in Graphic Design and Digital Media.

Following graduation, she resided with her twin brother, Roger, working for Proxibid, Inc.

In her younger years, Jocelyn enjoyed playing basketball and soccer. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing with her best friend, Sarah. She stayed active going with her twin brother to the gym and riding her bike on trails. She loved looking at the beauty in the trees and drawing. She had a contagious smile and a heart of gold. Joselyn loved deeply and was loved even more. She will be missed dearly by many.

Jocelyn was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington.

She leaves to celebrate her life; her parents, Patricio Aguirre-Carillo and Anabela Vasquez-Esquival; her brothers, Henry Aguirre Vasquez of Kearney and her twin brother, Roger Aguirre Vasquez of Omaha; grandparents, Hilaria Carrillo, Efrain Vasquez and America Esquival all of Guatemala; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Matt Koperski, officiating.  The Mass will be livestreamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.

The Casket will be closed.

Burial will be in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
