Jeffrey "Jeff" Dale Hild

Jeffrey D. “Jeff” Hild, 41, of Valley, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Valley. Jeff was born June 1, 1978, at Kearney, Nebraska to Mike and Christine (Wick) Hild. He attended school in Lexington. He worked various jobs and was a very good mechanic. He made his home in Valley with his girlfriend of 16 years, Christine Bevard. They raised two children together, Nathan and MyKenzee. Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors. He liked fishing, camping and riding his 4-wheeler. He also had a passion for working on cars. He was just starting a Tattoo business before he passed away. Survivors include his girlfriend, Christina Bevard of Valley; his parents, Mike Hild of Cozad and Christine “Chris” Shahan of Kearney; children, Nathan and MyKenzee Bevard of Valley; grandfather, Dale Hild of Lexington; step-sister, Jamie (Andrew) Campbell of Axtell; step-brothers, Shawn Shahan and Matthew Shahan of Kearney, Brad (Brittany) Hild and Adam (Jodi) Hild of Cozad; numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and a host of friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Kuefner, officiating. Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington. There will be no visitation, or memorial book signing. The family is honoring Jeff’s wish for cremation.
