Guillermina Solache, 50, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 25, 1972, in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico to Fermin Solache Reyes and Antonia Telles de Solache. In 1995, Guillermina moved from her hometown to Lexington, Nebraska. She was blessed with four children: Sandra, Giovanny, Melissa, and Irbin.
Guillermina was one-of-a-kind. Family was her top priority. She loved being with her parents and enjoyed spending time talking with her sisters. Her children were the most important thing to her, and she loved them, but she absolutely adored her grandchildren. When she wasn’t helping her children raise their children, she was spoiling them rotten. She would drop whatever she would be doing to make time for her grandchildren. You would most likely find Guillermina at sporting and school events cheering them on, or outside on a walk with her family catching some Pokemon on her Pokemon Go.
Guillermina loved dressing up and going to concerts to listen to her favorite bands and dance all night. When she would stay at home she would be knitting or gardening. She loved to joke around with her family and playing games; she was incredibly competitive and hated to lose. She was very creative and no matter what holiday it was, Guillermina would go all out and decorate her entire home. Guillermina was an incredible and caring mother, and she will be greatly missed.
Those left to celebrate her life is her partner, Pedro Vargas of Lexington; her children, Sandra (Ricardo) Cohetero, Giovanny (Yahaira Castellanos) Victorino, Melissa Victorino and Irbin (Ashley Gutierrez) Victorino all of Lexington; her grandchildren, Valerie, Ricardo Jr., Jessica, and Lexie Cohetero, Angel, Natalie, Kassandra, and Emma Victorino, Damian, Liam, and Nicolas Victorino; her brothers, Domitilo (Teresa Marquez) Solache, Refugio (Sandy Alva) Solache both of Lexington; her sisters, Carmen (Juvencio) Sandoval, Irma (Vinh) Nguyen, Cristina (Francisco) Solache, and Lorenza (Mario Garcia) Solache all of Lexington as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Fermin Solache Reyes, and brother, Heriberto “Herbie” Solache.
