Frances "Fran" L. Stevenson

Frances L. “Fran” Stevenson, 57, of Cozad, Nebraska, formerly of Callaway, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Longmont United Hospital in Colorado. Fran was born August 15, 1961 in Callaway, Nebraska to David and Mary F. (Woodward) Huff. She attended school in Callaway and graduated with the class of 1980. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey S. Stevenson on June 12, 1982 in Cozad. Two children were born to this union: Braden and Alisha, joining older brother, David. They would later divorce. Fran worked for over twenty years as a CNA at Cozad Care center. She worked at the Elks Club in Cozad for four years. She then worked for ten years at Parker Tech Seals in Gothenburg before an injury on the job and her health forced her to retire. Fran enjoyed knitting, painting and spending time with her family. Fran was a good mom, a good grandma, and a hard worker. Survivors include her two sons, David Stevenson and Braden Stevenson, both of Cozad, Nebraska and daughter, Alisha (Matthew) James of Longmont, Colorado; one brother, Charles Huff of Cozad, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Breanna and Dayton of North Platte, Nebraska, Kira of Cozad, Nebraska, Ella, Ava and Ruby of Longmont, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with Ken Pitkin, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway.
