Donna Sue Siemering

Donna Sue Siemering, 46, of Cozad, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at her home in Cozad, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 16, 1978, in Callaway, Nebraska to Rodney and Dorothy (Ballenger) Longmore. She attended public school in Cozad and graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1996. On June 27, 1997, Donna was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Jermey Siemering. Three children were blessed to this union: Karly, Trestian, and Taylor. The couple moved to Gothenburg for five years but couldn't stay away for too long, so they made their home back in Cozad.

Donna was one of the hardest workers you could ever meet. She made her career working at Parker Hannifin in Cozad for several years and loved every moment of it. She rarely missed work and would power through any illness with a smile. When she would take a well-deserved break, you could often find her in her garden, working on her plants and flowers, or playing Pokemon GO. She also enjoyed working on her puzzles and had completed several 1500-piece puzzles. Donna loved spending time with her family, following her children's sports events, and adored being a grandmother. She had a vibrant spirit that will be missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jermey Siemering of Cozad; children, Karly (Dakota) Pooschke of Overton, Trestian (Tori) Siemering of Bremerton, Washington; and Taylor (Makayla) Siemering of Kearney; grandchildren, Braylynn Pooschke, and Oakley Pooschke, plus two on the way; brother, Tony (Robin) Longmore of Grand Island; sister, April (Matt) Dingis of Cozad; as well as extended family and many friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Dorothy Longmore; grandmother, Loma Ballenger; and uncles, Dale and David Ballenger.

A Memorial Book Signing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, with family receiving guests from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
