Delores M. Pool

  Delores M. Pool, 80, of Grand Island, Nebraska, formerly of Overton, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.   She was born July 6, 1937, in Sumner, Nebraska, to Emil and Eleanor (Ogg) Warta. Delores was a graduate of Sumner High School, and lived the majority of her life in the Overton area.   Delores was united in marriage to Donnie Pool on September 21, 1957, in Minden, Nebraska. Seven children were blessed to this marriage; Donnie Joe, Laura, Gene, Cindy, Cliff, Dale, and Tammie. The family lived in Cozad until 1970, settling in Overton in 1972. She was a stay at home wife, and mother for the majority of her life.  Delores was baptized into the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1964.   Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, cross word puzzles, and playing cards.   Delores is survived by her children; sons; Donnie Joe Pool of Overton, Nebraska, Gene Pool of Sultan, Washington, Cliff (Shelly) Pool of Swisher, Iowa, Dale (Cyndi) Pool of New Hartford, Iowa; daughters, Laura (Tom) Reinick of Elwood, Nebraska, Cindy (Jason) Crockett of St. John, Kansas, and Tammie (Paul) Reinick of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Richard (Lois) Warta of Overton, Nebraska, and Robert Warta of Gibbon, Nebraska; as well as 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.   Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donnie on November 2, 2017; and one brother, Marlin Warta.   Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with Dan Vonderfecht officiating.   Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington.   Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery at Overton, Nebraska.   Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.   Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
