Betty Lee Snelgrove

Betty Lee Snelgrove, 74, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Lexington Regional Health Center.

She was born on April 1, 1950, in Snyder, Texas, to Otis and Dolly (Wortham) Snelgrove. Betty was blessed with four children: John, EJ, Mary, and Billy. In 2000, she made her home in Lexington to be closer to her family. Betty enjoyed the comfort of her home and liked to spend her time watching her favorite soap operas like "Days of Our Lives" and reading her bible. She loved having family time and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoying some delicious enchiladas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, John (Linda) Nicholson, EJ Nix, Billy Hall, and Mary Nix, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Rhondea Nicholson, Johnny Nicholson, Michelle Allen, Becky Nix, and Shawntel Alabutie; brothers, Sammy Snelgrove of Fort Worth, Texas, George Wortham of Fort Worth, Texas, and Johnny Wortham of Snyder, Texas; sisters, Annie Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas, Carol Snelgrove of Kansas, and Peggy Kenner of Snyder, Texas; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Dolly Snelgrove.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington with Lay Minister, Sarah Neben, officiating.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
