Andrea Mendoza

Andrea Mendoza, 63, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.

She was born November 30, 1956 in El Salvador to Pablo M. and Tomasa (Majano) Suarez.

She was united in marriage to Alfredo Mendoza on August 19, 1996 in Los Angeles, California. They moved to Lexington, Nebraska from Los Angeles, California in 1997. Andrea worked in Housekeeping at Tri-County Hospital and Great Plains Chiropractic and also served meals at Tyson.

Andrea loved her church and preaching the bible, she was a faithful member to several churches including Iglesia De Dios Camino De Santidad and Dios Es Amor in Lexington. She enjoyed playing the guitar and reading. She looked forward to making a big breakfast every Sunday for her family. Her family, church, and faith were always an important part of her life. Above all, Andrea has left a tremendous legacy of love, faith to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Alfredo of Lexington; sons, Jimmy Morales Suarez of El Salvardor and Jeann Morales Suarez of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Katherine, Jimmy Jr., Xavier, Bella Luna, Danny, Jocelyne, Giovanny, Andrea and Messi Morales; one great-grandchild, Alaïa Carrera; two brothers, Ramon Majanos and Salvador Majanos of Los Angeles, California and Gilberto Majano of El Salvador; sisters, Maria Josefa Majano and Orbelina Majano of El Salvador; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Private Family Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington, Nebraska. The funeral service will be streamed live through Facebook Live on the Reynolds-Love Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 1-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we will adhere to the limitation of 10 or less at public gatherings.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
