Mary Nancy McLain

Mary McLain, 99, of Arvada, Colorado, formerly of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada, Colorado. Mary was born April 5, 1911, in White Rock, South Dakota to George and Lettie Goodwalt. She was united in marriage to Harold W. McLain of Wheaton, Minnesota on November 14, 1931. The couple lived in Minnesota and farmed until 1954. They then moved to Colorado until 1976, and then moved to Lexington, Nebraska. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed! Mary is survived by one daughter: Betty Shultz of Denver, Colorado One son: Dale McLain of Graceville, Minnesota Nineteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold; sons, Donald & Kenneth McLain and four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor Michael Gruhn officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2010, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
