Margaret M. “Mickey” Denson, 74, of Kearney, Nebraska, formerly of Overton, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.
She was born June 2, 1936, at Kearney, Nebraska, to Henry and Lois (Purdy) Jacoby. Mickey lived her entire life in the Kearney, Overton and Lexington areas. She was united in marriage to Ralph Denson on September 3, 1952, at Lexington, Nebraska; three children were blessed to this marriage; Pam, Steve and Martin.
Mickey worked at Monroe Auto, Plectron Manufacturing, Overton Public Schools and Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She never met a stranger or anyone she could not talk to. Her family was the love of her life. She so enjoyed following her grandchildren’s sports activities and all other phases of their lives.
Survivors include one daughter: Pam Coe of Kearney, Nebraska
Two sons: Steve (Michelle) Denson of Greeley, Colorado
Marty Denson of Kearney, Nebraska
Grandchildren: Scott (Amy) Coe of Hastings, Nebraska; Ryan Coe and friend Dustin of Omaha, Nebraska; Jeff (Shantel) Coe of Manchester, New Hampshire; Mike Coe of Kearney, Nebraska; Melissa (Paul) Denson of Greeley, Colorado; and Matthew (Beth) Denson of Greeley, Colorado.
Great-grandchildren: Joshua Coe, Jared Coe, Jadyn Denson with a little sister on the way; and Tristen Coe.
One sister: Patricia Brown of Portland, Oregon
Two brothers: Jerry (Verlene) Jacoby of Ft. Collins, Colorado
Chuck (Vicky) Jacoby of Camby, Oregon
Brother-in-law: Charles (Alice) Denson of Kearney, Nebraska

Joyce Shatters of Kearney, Nebraska
Colleen (Bob) Dolan of Overton, Nebraska
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph in 1998,son-in-law Norman Coe and one granddaughter, Jennifer.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Overton Christian Church in Overton with Pastor Will Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery at Overton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010, from 4-6 p.m. at the Overton Funeral Home in Overton.
Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
