William Benjamin Pearson, Sr.

William B. Pearson, 85, of Broken Bow, Nebraska, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow. He was born June 15, 1925, at Wood Lake, Nebraska, to George and Mable (Hickman) Pearson. Bill was united in marriage to Jean Tyler. The couple made their home on the family ranch south of Valentine and later in Broken Bow. He was later married to E. Nadene Cox. They lived in Arvada, Colorado and Callaway, Nebraska before entering the Golden Living Center. Survivors include his wife: E. Nadene Pearson of Broken Bow, Nebraska Two daughters: Barbara and husband Gary McCormick of Sparks, Nebraska Constance and husband John Grieser of Broken Bow, Nebraska Two sons: Bill, Jr. and wife Cindy Pearson of Broken Bow, Nebraska Mark Pearson of Gibbon, Nebraska Bill is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Two sisters: Georgia Bellville of Valentine, Nebraska Emma Jean and husband George Sullivan of Lincoln, Nebraska One brother-in-law: Dale Vose of Orleans, Nebraska He is also survived by several nieces and nephews William was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Vose; two brothers-in-law, Lowell Belville and Bud Dietz and a nephew, Gary Sullivan. The Family has honored Bill’s wishes that his body be cremated. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Callaway, Nebraska with Reverend Roger Gillming officiating. Inurnment will be held privately at the Rose Hill Cemetery by the family in Callaway, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
