Donna Rae Flint, 76, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 29, 1934, at Callaway, Nebraska to James C. and Ada E. (Hopkins) Flint. She grew up on the farm and attended school at Eddyville. Donna was united in marriage to Louie O’Con and later to Cruz Araujo, Jr. Four children were blessed to these marriages; Sharon, Carmen, Brett & Brent. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith.
Throughout Donna’s working years, she was a Nurse’s Aide at Roepke Care Facility and Westside Care Home as well as housekeeping at Tri-County Hospital, all in Lexington.
Donna loved to read, cook, go to garage sales, grow beautiful flowers and play bingo. She enjoyed being with her kids and grandkids and family was always very important to her. She had a large extended family and so enjoyed having family get-togethers. She loved her faithful dog companion, Brock.

Dana & Marv Thornburg of Lexington, Nebraska
One sister-in-law: Evelyn Flint of Shickley, Nebraska
Eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Flint; one sister-in-law, Verna Flint and one niece, Becky Jo.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 13, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Jeff Ernstmeyer officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
