Beverly June Gregory, 45, of Overton, Nebraska, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, the result of blood cancer at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She was born January 13, 1965 at Clinton, Missouri to Edward and Evelyn (Branstetter) Gregory. Beverly moved with her family to Elm Creek in 1969. She attended Elm Creek Public Schools. The family moved to Overton in 1991, where she lived until her death. Bev loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. She also loved country music and has a big collection of country CD’s. She liked to play scrabble and hand held games. She loved to shop, cut coupons and use them and, especially, loved spending time with her family and friends. Bev also enjoyed collecting stamps and cooking and playing jokes on her neighbors. Beverly was sick for most of her life, but this never once stopped her from enjoying life and loving her wonderful family. She will be so very missed. Survivors include her parents: Edward and Evelyn Gregory of Overton, Nebraska One brother: Gary Gregory of Miller, Nebraska One sister: Lori (Jerry) Hagan of Elwood, Nebraska One niece: Niki (Kenny) Townsend of Elwood, Nebraska One nephew: Josh Hagan of Omaha, Nebraska Two grand-nephews: Ian Corder and Cohen Hagan Seven uncles: Ora Lee Gregory and Bob Gregory both of Windsor, Missouri; Charles Gregory of Harlan County Reservoir near Alma, Nebraska; John and Don Gregory both of Overton, Nebraska and James Branstetter of Harrisonville, Missouri and Elmer Branstetter of Charlotte, North Carolina Three aunts: Margaret Klose of Abingdon, Virginia; Mary Ann Dempsey of Calhoun, Missouri and Ethel Commins of Warsau, Missouri Bev was preceded in death by her grandparents and one uncle, Ervin Dale Branstetter A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska. At Beverly’s request there will be no funeral service and cremation will follow visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
