Alvin A. Frerichs

Alvin A. Frerichs, 58, of Sumner, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He was born September 24, 1951 in Smith Center, Kansas to John M. and Eileene J. (Petersen) Frerichs. He was united in marriage to Cindy Phillips on December 28, 1973. Alvin was owner/operator of Frerichs Trucking Company for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife; Cindy Frerichs of Sumner, Nebraska Sons: Andrew Frerichs of Sumner, Nebraska Jacob Frerichs of South Carolina John and Calvin Frerichs both of Sumner, Nebraska Daughters: Tammy (Chris) Dietz of Amherst, Nebraska Jamie (Jason) Tellus of Wayne, Nebraska Emma Frerichs of Kearney, Nebraska Jennifer Frerichs of North Dakota Anna Frerichs of Sumner, Nebraska Three brothers, four sisters, and many grandchildren. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna; son, Joshua and one grandson. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the United Church of Sumner, East Campus, with Pastor Ken Hutson officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
