Joseph Luis Lupercio, 60, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Lexington Regional Health Center. He was born December 9, 1957 in Santa Monica, California to Alfredo Camarena and Magdalena (Gonzalez) Lupercio. Joseph enlisted in the United States Army in 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1979. He moved to Lexington from California in 2005 to live with his mother. Joseph enjoyed making homemade guns and spending time with his family. Survivors include his brothers, Alfredo (Maggie) Lupercio of Palm Dale, California and Abelardo “Rambo” Lupercio of Lexington, Nebraska; sisters, Martha (Gus) Balderas of Bullhead City, Arizona, Maggie (Omar) Garcia of Whittier, California and Ruth Lupercio of Victorville, California; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Raymond and Carlos. A Wake Service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home with Father Jose Chavez, officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Following the Wake Service, cremation will take place and burial will be held at a later date.
