Molle Rae Jorgenson

Molle Rae Jorgenson, 71, of Callaway, Nebraska, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Callaway District Hospital in Callaway, Nebraska. She was born May 6, 1946, in Arnold, NE to Harold and Zola (DuGuay) Headley. Molle lived in the Oconto area until the age of 12 at which time she, along with her younger brother Thomas, moved to Cozad after the death of their parents to live with their brother Rodney and his wife Marilyn Headley and their sons Terry and Stan. Molle graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1964. On July 12, 1964, she married Richard Jorgenson in Cozad, Nebraska. Two children were blessed to this marriage; Ward A. and Todd L. Molle was a church organist for over 50 years and an active participant of Callaway Community Church where she volunteered with the Awana Club. She enjoyed teaching piano lessons to the local children, riding her horses, Prince and Misty, and attending any and all sporting events, including her beloved Huskers. Time spent with family and friends was something she loved the most. Survivors include her husband Richard; two sons; Ward and wife Diane (Nordyke) Jorgenson of Kearney, Nebraska and Todd and wife Lori (Gosweiler) Jorgenson of Bridgeton, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Lea and Hannah Jorgenson and Carly and Jenna Jorgenson; one sister, Carrie Ann Nagl of Ravenna, Nebraska; one brother, Thomas and wife Sheryl Headley of Silver Spring, MD; as well as nephews, a niece, extended family and friends. Molle was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rodney. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Callaway Community Church with Pastor Dean Haidle officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway. Visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. at the Callaway Community Church. Memorials are suggested to the Callaway Community Church’s youth ministries. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.
