Sandra Louise Condry

Sandra L. Condry, 69, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Friday, June 23, 2017, at CHI Health Good Samaritan-Kearney. She was born July 29, 1947, at North Platte, Nebraska to William G. and Laura M. (Broeder) Price. She grew up south of Stockville, and graduated from Curtis Technical School in 1965. After graduation, she moved to Grand Island where she worked for the Grand Island Veteran’s Home. While living in Grand Island she met Donald. The couple was married May 23, 1970, in Grand Island. Two children were blessed to this marriage; Laura and Mark. The couple moved to Lexington in 1971. Sandy was a stay-at-home mom, a job she absolutely loved. She was able to be a Girl Scout Leader, a room mother, and able to attend all the of kids’ activities. Sandy was a faithful member of the Berean Bible Church, where she loved attending Bible Study. She enjoyed crocheting Afghans, going to the Grand Generation Center, where she joined in all of the activities at the Center. She loved stock car racing, was a pen-pal with a student from Lexington at the GGC, fishing, and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids and great-grandchildren. She really never knew a stranger. Survivors include her daughter, Laura (John) Willets of Cozad, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Michael Willets (Cassondra Davis) Kearney, Nebraska, Jessica (Josh) Shockley of Athol, Kansas, Trevor (Sharanna) Pike of Hoardville, Nebraska, and Katie (Eric) Mortimore of Kearney, Nebraska; ten great-grandchildren, Kaila, Kaily, Charlotte, Malykai, Nathan, Edrich, Annegelynn, Angel, Arya, and Annabell as well as one on the way; brother-in-law, Robert (Marilyn) Condry of Vinton, Iowa; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; son, Mark; two brothers, Bill, Jr. and Jim; her In-laws; one brother-in-law, and one sister-in-law. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 30, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Berean Bible Church in Lexington with Pastor A.L. Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the family.
