Eli James Dailey, infant son of Quentin and Jessica Dailey of rural Lexington, Nebraska, died Saturday, June 3, 2017, of Fetal Hydrops at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Eli was called home to Heaven the same day he was born. He leaves to mourn his passing; his parents, Quentin and Jessica (Frerichs) Dailey of rural Lexington; brother, Tucker Dailey of Lexington; maternal grandparents, Dave (Pam) Frerichs of Atkinson, Nebraska; paternal grandparents, Craig (Crystal) Dailey of Kearney, Nebraska; great-grandparents; Jim (Norma) Frerichs of Atkinson, Nebraska, James Koenig of Ewing, Nebraska, and Neil (Beverley) Dailey of Las Cruces, New Mexico; aunts, Becky Frerichs of Atkinson, Nebraska, Mary (John) Flannery of Atkinson, Nebraska, Audrey (Scott) Aden of Gothenburg, Nebraska and their son, Kye Aden; also surviving are extended family members. Eli was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jolyene Koenig, and J.P. (Susie) Oberheim. It was the wishes of Eli’s parents that cremation take place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Celebration will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the family at this time for later designation.
