Tomasa Adelfina Calito, 90, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Plum Creek Healthcare Community in Lexington.
Tomasa was born March 7, 1926. She was united in marriage to Pedro Calito Saban in Guatemala.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. Tomasa also enjoyed doing embroidery, cooking, and being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Pedro of Lexington, Nebraska; daughter, Reyna and husband Tomas Mendoza of Lexington, Nebraska; son-in-law, Israel Ibarra of Lexington, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Karina Mendoza, Alvaro Mendoza, Nancy Ibarra, Giovanni Ibarra, Allan Diaz, and Shanny Diaz; and, one great-grandchild, Torian. She is also survived by other relatives in Guatemala.
Tomasa was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Virginia Ibarra; one son, Saul Diaz Escobar; three sisters and two brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Jose Chavez celebrating.
Burial will be in the St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at St. Ann’s.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
