Gregorio “Greg” Franco Salcido, 60, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He was born May 25, 1955, in Emilio, Carranza, Mexico, to Martin Salcido and Lucila Franco. Franco was united in marriage to Brenda Bromlow on January 21, 1991, in Elkhart, Kansas. The family moved to Overton in 1998, and then to Lexington in 2002. He went to work for Bill Area from Overton. He then worked for Terry Ackerman Tree Service in Lexington. His health forced him to retire. Greg enjoyed gardening, working with leather, cooking, mowing, drawing, and recycling. His family meant the world to him, and he loved spending time with them. Survivors include his wife; Brenda of Lexington, Nebraska; two sons, Matthew Bromlow of Kearney, Nebraska, Gregory Franco of Lexington, Nebraska; one daughter, April and her husband Timothy Lambert of Lexington, Nebraska; two brothers, Carmen Franco of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Alejandro and his wife Betty Franco of Ogden, Utah; three grandchildren, Orion, Evan, and Railey; mother-in-law, Karon Bromlow of Dannebrog, Nebraska; also surviving are other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington with Pastor John Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington.
