She was born February 6, 1965, in Winfield, Kansas, to Billy and JoAnne (Schroeder) Holomek. She moved with her family as a young girl to Nebraska, where they settled in St. Libory, Nebraska. Michelle was united in marriage to Scott Ripp on July 12, 1991, in Grand Island. The couple moved to Lexington in February of 1997. She started her own home Daycare at this time. It takes a special kind of person to care for other people’s children, and one she enjoyed very much. Her first daycare child is graduating from high school this year. Due to poor health, she had to retire a year ago, at the age of 50.
Michelle loved being a mother, taking care of her “kids”, the neighborhood kids also loved coming over. She enjoyed gardening, and listening to classic rock.
