James Albert “Jimmy” Pandorf, 61, of Axtell, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
He was born July 25, 1954, in Callaway, Nebraska, to Hubert H. and Mary (Hitchman) Pandorf. Jimmy was born with learning disabilities, and had been a resident of Bethphage, now known as Mosaic in Axtell, Nebraska.
While living at Mosaic, Jimmy enjoyed drinking his Mountain Dew, and made many life-long Mosaic friends. Those friends will miss him very much.
Survivors include; one brother, Jerry (Sherri) Pandorf of Callaway, Nebraska; three sisters, Martha Ann White of Gretna, Nebraska, Mary Ellen (Chuck) Halbur of Gretna, Nebraska, and Susan Schumacher of Lincoln, Nebraska; as well as four nieces, Samantha Pandorf of Kearney, Nebraska, Brooke (Joe) Dickman of Callaway, Nebraska, Jill (Brent) Dolberg of Hickman, Nebraska, and Katie (Jeff) McIllece of Phoenix, Arizona; four nephews, Paul (Brooke) Schumacher of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mark Schumacher of Lincoln, Nebraska, Chris (Karla) Pandorf of Callaway, Nebraska, and Dan Pandorf of Callaway, Nebraska; as well as other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Gary White and Mike Schumacher.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Callaway, Nebraska with Reverend Thomas Gudipalli celebrating, and Pastor John Gosswein sharing special thoughts.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Callaway.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway.
Memorials are suggested to Mosaic in Axtell.
