Janice Wolfe, 86, of Eddyville, Nebraska, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at her home in Eddyville.
She was born September 14, 1922, in St. Mary’s, Nebraska to Mike and Emma (Hintz) Masur.
On November 5, 1949, she married Ray Ivan Wolfe, Sr. in Lexington, Nebraska. Together they were blessed with eight children.
Janice attended Capital Beauty College in Omaha, Nebraska, where she graduated in 1946. She
operated two restaurants; one in North Platte, Nebraska and one in Brush, Colorado.
Her enjoyments were spending time with her grandchildren, family & friends. She loved to travel and go camping with her husband.

Twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two daughters; two granddaughters; one grandson and one son-in-law.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Paul Colling officiating.
Burial will at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 4-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to Tri-County Hospital Hospice in Lexington.
