James Karl Treacle

James Karl Treacle, 24, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Friday February, 27, 2009, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born April 20, 1984, in Wayne, Nebraska, to Robert E. Treacle, Sr. and Diane (Allvin) Treacle. James lived in many different areas before moving to Cozad his freshman year and then to Dunning where he graduated from Sand Hills High School with the class of 2003. On July 8, 2004, he married Nicole Archambault at the Callaway United Methodist Church. To this union two beautiful daughters, Clair Ann and Rosalind, were born. The couple moved to Broken Bow, Oconto, Callaway, and settled in Lexington. While living Broken Bow, James was a bartender, as well as a cook. When they moved to Lexington he worked at Tyson before joining the National Guard. James was a wonderful friend and was known as “The Counselor” to many. He was a musician and enjoyed playing guitar hero, wrestling, football, working with children and was an avid Husker fan. Survivors include his wife Nicole Treacle of Lexington, Nebraska. Daughters: Clair Ann and Rosalind Treacle of Lexington, Nebraska. Father: Robert Treacle, Sr. of Lexington, Nebraska. Mother: Diane Treacle of Wayne, Nebraska Brothers: Patrick Treacle of Lincoln, Nebraska Robert Treacle, Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska. Sister: Bobbie Treacle of Lexington, Nebraska. Father and Mother-In-Law: Robert (Ann) Archambault of Oconto, Nebraska Brother-In-Law: David Archambault of Oconto, Nebraska Grandparents: Leona Allvine of Carroll, Nebraska Betty Treacle of Gnadenhutten, Ohio Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends James was preceded in death by his Grandfathers Carl Allvin and James Edward Treacle and best friend Matt Webb. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Callaway with Reverend Gerald Schwarz, officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors by the Nebraska National Guard will be in the Oconto Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March, 3, 2009, from 4-7 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Callaway. Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
