Dorothy C. “Donegan” Pariseau, 76, of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015, at the Callaway Good Life Center.
Dorothy was born March 3, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Marvin C. and Margaret (Keeler) Hansen. She attended school and graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Dorothy lived in various places throughout her life and eventually settled in Callaway, Nebraska in 2008. She spent many years as a dental assistant and was in the food service as well.
She had many hobbies which included crafts, puzzles, shopping and collecting old memorabilia. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Dorothy was a member of the Callaway Community Church.
Survivors include her children: Kevin (Penny Rose) Donegan of Corpus Christi, Texas, Troy (Melissa) Donegan of Callaway, Nebraska, Charity (Doug) Buchholz of Corsica, South Dakota and Hope (Cory) Bartels of Friend, Nebraska, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, three sisters, Donna (Jim) Walderbach of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Barb (Phil) Turner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Pam (John) Wheeler of Marion, Iowa.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents; two brothers, Marvin “Bud” Hansen and John Hansen.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Callaway Community Church with Pastor Dean Haidle, officiating.
Burial will be in the Sand Valley Cemetery west of Callaway.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
