Michael Eugene Livingston

Michael Eugene Livingston, 49, of Juniata, Nebraska, died tragically in a vehicle accident on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, near Sutton, Nebraska, in rural Clay County. He was born October 6, 1959, at Fremont, Nebraska, to Earnie and Delores (Spencer) Livingston. Michael grew up and went to school at Fremont and then moved with his family to Oconto, where he graduated from Oconto High School with the class of 1977. Michael joined the United States Army and upon his return worked for a time at Peavey Grain in Cozad, Nebraska. At the time of his death he was a contract carrier for the Hastings Tribune Newspaper in Hastings, Nebraska, a position he’s held for several years. His co-workers will always remember Michael as a compassionate person who was always concerned for the safety of everyone else. The love of his life was his black Labrador, Lady. He also enjoyed cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Survivors include his parents: Earnie “Bill” & Delores Livingston of Lexington, NE Two brothers: Richard & Linda Livingston of Grand Island, Nebraska Robert Livingston of Atwater, California Brother-in-law: Chris Stenka of Grand Island, Nebraska Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents; two sisters, Tresa and Barbara, both in 2008; aunts and uncles. Michael’s body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor K.C. BeDunnah officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are to be directed to the Family. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
