Lois E. Huff, 90, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.
She was born March 1, 1918, at Amherst, Nebraska, to Trever and Lindsay (Patterson) Williams.
Lois grew up in the Eddyville area and graduated from Eddyville High School with the class of 1937. She was united in marriage to Gerald Weaver and one son was blessed to this marriage, Mick. She was then
married to Harold Huff on March 2, 1963, at Lexington, Nebraska, which combined both families with Harold’s children; Carol, Shirley, Terry Ann and Dennis.
She spent 20 years working at Yoder’s Care Home and 35 years helping with the Huff Carpet cleaning business. Lois enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and being with her large family.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Glen & Marge Golter of Brady, Nebraska
Seventeen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold; stepson, Dennis; stepdaughter, Carol; one grandchild, Kayla; five brothers, Bill, Robert, Si, Dwight and Stanford; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Michael Gruhn officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 4-6 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
