Annetta Marie Marsh, 84, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.
She was born March 27, 1924, at Callaway, Nebraska, to George and Minnie (Reed) Klein.
Annetta moved to Lexington when she was 2 years old and has lived here ever since. She attended school at Lexington. Annetta was a stay-at-home mom when her children were small, but after they went to school she worked for a time at Hollingsworth Motel, the A&W Restaurant and Thiel’s Care Home. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church.
She loved to play games, playing bingo, dominoes, canasta and jacks. She also enjoyed cooking and made the “best cinnamon rolls” in the neighborhood. Annetta was a wonderful mother and grandmother and so enjoyed visits from her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed holiday get-togethers, especially driving around and seeing the Christmas lights. One of her other favorite activities was going out to eat with her daughters, especially at the Leprechaun.
Annetta spent 22 years at Eastlawn apartments and in the last few years with her health declining was unable to get out much to visit friends. She will be so very missed.
