Frank Charles "Chuck" Fees, Jr.

Frank C. “Chuck” Fees, Jr., 70, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at his home in Lexington. He was born September 6, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Frank Charles and Josephine Mayme (McClintick) Fees. He moved with his family to Eddyville as a young boy and at the age of 7 moved to Lexington. Chuck graduated from St. Ann’s High School with the class of 1963. Following high school he worked for Gary Shubert and Jones Plumbing. Chuck was united in marriage to Linda Cantrell on June 28, 1980, in Lexington. One daughter was blessed to this marriage, Laurel. Chuck spent 20 years with the Dawson County Department of Roads and several years driving a grain truck for Randy Kuck. His health forced him to retire in November of 2014. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and tinkering. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. Chuck had quite the skill of joking around and teasing. He will be very missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife; Linda Fees of Lexington, Nebraska; daughter, Laurel and husband Henry Schram of Lexington, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Gabe, Makayah, and Daniel; one brother, Jim and wife Molly Fees of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Jean Gentry of Parrish, Florida and Joyce and husband Dale Margritz of North Platte, Nebraska; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, B.J. Margritz. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 6, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015, from 7-9 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
