Norma J. Warren, 84, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Park Avenue Estates in Lexington. She was born November 26, 1923, in Dawson County, Nebraska, to Hunter and Laura (Lobdell) Delap. Norma attended country school at District #59 and went on to graduate from Lexington High School with the class of 1941. She then went to beauty school in Omaha. She was united in marriage to Paul Warren on January 16, 1943, at Lexington, Nebraska. Norma and Paul lived on the farm until their retirement in 1981, when they moved to Lexington. Norma had a beauty shop in her home for many years. She was a member of the Lexington Christian Church and enjoyed being involved in many facets of her church family. She was also a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary as well as the Tri-County Hospital Auxiliary. Norma enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She was also an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Survivors include one son; Terry (Mary Jo) Warren of Ashland, Nebraska Daughter: Elizabeth Lockman of Kearney, Nebraska Four grandchildren: Shawn Wheeler of Omaha, Nebraska,Trevor (Sarah) Warren and their son Lloyd of Santa Monica, California, Matthew Warren of Omaha, Nebraska, and Cherie Quintana and her three sons, Brandon, Wesley and Adrian Quintana of Lexington, Nebraska Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul in 2005; brother, Jack and son, Gary in 1966. Services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Lexington Christian Church with Pastor Kyron C. BeDunnah officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Monday, November 17, 2008, 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to Tri-County Hospital Hospice or Lexington Christian Church.
