Sixto Fregoso de Dios

Sixto Fregoso de Dios, 55 of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014, at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He was born August 6, 1959, in Juchitlan, Mexico, to Antonio and Maria Luisa (de Dios) Fregoso. Sixto attended school in Mexico. He moved to Lexington in 2000 to work for IBP from Englewood, California. Sixto enjoyed being a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. He loved to sing and play soccer. Spending time with his family was the most important part of his life. Survivors include his wife; Maria Hernandez de Fregoso of Lexington, Nebraska; mother, Maria Luisa Fregoso of Rancho Cucamango, California; one son, Sixto G. Fregoso of Lexington, Nebraska; six brothers, Andres Fregoso of California, Jose Luis Fregoso of Lennox, California, Marcos Fregoso of Lexington, Nebraska, Rafael Fregoso of Upland, California, Ricardo Fregoso of California, and Jose Manuel Fregoso of Lamita, California; three sisters, Maria Tovar of Bakersfield, California, Luz Veronica Fregoso of Miami, Florida, and Gabriela Fregoso of Seattle, Washington; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sixto was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Fregoso. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 2, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jorge Canela celebrating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation. Burial will be held at a later date in California. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
