Maria de la Luz Arroyo, 41, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington, of natural causes.
She was born November 25, 1966, in Colonia Gildardo Magana, Michoacan, Mexico to Antonio Gutierrez and Esther Montez.
Maria attended school in Mexico. She was united in marriage to Heraclio Arroyo Parra in 1995, in Mexico.
Maria moved to Lexington in 1997, from Los Angeles, California. At the time of her death she worked on the Slaughter floor at Tyson Fresh Meats. She loved being a mom and keeping a well-kept home was one of her passions. She will be so missed by her family and friends.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband: Heraclio Arroyo Parra of Lexington, Nebraska
Two sons: Giovanni and Manuel Arroyo of Lexington, Nebraska
One daughter: Mireya Arroyo of Lexington, Nebraska
As well as her parents,six brothers and four sisters, all living in Mexico.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Paul Colling officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, September 26, 2008, from 1-6 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. all at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Family.
Burial will be held later in her hometown in Mexico.
