The couple built their own home and enjoyed raising their family in Callaway. Wayne started running his maintainer in 1964, this was a great source of enjoyment for him. The couple were Amway distributors for many years and members of the United Methodist Church in Callaway. Wayne was also a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Broken Bow. Wayne’s grandchildren could always count on grandpa to have a Werther’s Original candy in his pocket and they enjoyed that special connection with him.
