Niels Edward Royle

Niels Edward Royle, 43, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington. He was born January 30, 1971, in Loup City, Nebraska, to Loren and Joyce (Hughes) Royle. After the family moved to Lexington, where attended school and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1990. He then went on to further his education at Southeast Community College in Lincoln. Niels lived most of his life in the area except when he lived in Gillette, Wyoming where he worked for Crole Ready Mix and Kissex Company. Prior to that, he worked many years for Kearney Crete and Block before moving to Wyoming. He was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed being with family, friends, camping, playing darts, hiking, and just chilling. He will be so dearly missed. Niels was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington. Survivors include his mother; Joyce Royle of Lexington, Nebraska; two brothers, Glen Royle and Loren Royle both of Ft. Collins, Colorado; two sisters, Debra (Mike) Abrams of Lexington, Nebraska; and, Becki (Scott) Meredith of Lincoln, Nebraska; a niece and nephew; Aaron and Andrea Reimers; and two grand-nephews; Gage Clifton and Madden Lueking; special friend Rebekah Titus and son Gunner; as well as cousins, extended family and many friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Loren; brother, Leroy; two uncles and grandparents. The family has honored his wishes for cremation. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington with Vicar Josh Stibb officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
