Rebecca Jo "Becky" Rouse

Rebecca Jo “Becky” Rouse, 59, of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at BryanLGH East Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born April 10, 1955, in Plainview, Nebraska, to Casey and Florence (Lingenfelter) Jones. Becky grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended Omaha South High School. Becky was married to Terry McBride, Dale Pesek and Jim Rouse. She lived in several towns in Nebraska as well as in Texas. She moved from Gilmer, Texas to Callaway in 2007. She mainly worked as a Nurse’s Aide in care homes throughout her life. She loved the interaction and caring for the older folks. Becky was a unique person in the fact that she would give the shirt off her back to those less fortunate, and always had a kind word for everyone. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. She loved her family very much and looked forward to having the grandchildren come to visit. She also enjoyed baking and attending the grandchildren’s activities. She will be so dearly missed. Survivors include husband; Jim Rouse of Omaha, Nebraska; children; Casey McBride of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Terry and wife Carmen McBride of Ong, Nebraska; Doug Pesek of Elkhorn, Nebraska; Frank Pesek and fiancé Liz Runyan of North Platte, Nebraska; and, Samantha “Sam” McBride of Lincoln, Nebraska; five brothers, Dennis, Dale, Tommy, Leland, and Lonnie; five sisters, Naomi, Ronda, Donetta, Patty and Connie; thirteen grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild with one on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; and, one brother, Ronnie. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Callaway Community Church in Callaway, Nebraska with Pastor Dean Haidle officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway. Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at the Callaway Community Church.
