Jerry Alan Dye

Lexington- Jerry A. Dye, 69 of Eustis, Nebraska , died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Lexington Regional Health Center. He was born September 17, 1944 To Margaret Kuehn in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Gretna High School with the Class of 1963. After graduation in 1963, he served his country in Vietnam with the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1967. After his service in the Navy he farmed in the Gretna area. Jerry moved to the Lexington area in 1978 and drove truck for Standard Chemical which later became PMS. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting but mostly worked and enjoyed his family. Survivors include; One son; Rodney Dye of Omaha, Nebraska One Daughter; Rhonda and husband David Montey of Eustis, Nebraska One brother; Ronald Dye of Gretna, Nebraska One sister; Gloria and husband Jack Koke of Gretna, Nebraska Four Grandchildren; Jenni Maher, Ashlie, Abby & Jazmin Montey Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Kuehn Pickett. Memorial book signing will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March, 8 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral home in Lexington with the Rev. Dr. Dyton Owen, officiating.
