Clementine M. (Fagot) King, 73, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.
She was born May 12, 1935, at Lexington, Nebraska to Ralph B. and Matilda (Welter) Fagot.
Clementine grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1952. She then went on to attend Kearney State College.
She was united in marriage to Marion L. “Brad” King on April 8, 1967, at Grand Island, Nebraska. Clementine worked for 22 years in the Dawson County Treasurer’s office.
Clementine enjoyed her pet dogs and shopping on QVC. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church as well as the Altar Society and a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include one brother: Leo Fagot of Lexington, Nebraska
One sister: Veronica (Ted) Scholl of Kearney, Nebraska
Many nieces and nephews.
Clementine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Brad; two brothers and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 7, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington, Nebraska with Reverend Paul Colling officiating. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the church. The Casket will be closed.
Burial will be in the St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.
