Dorothy M Haugh, 81, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at her son’s home in Grand Island.
She was born on April 22, 1932 in Lexington, Nebraska to Charles Henry and Edith (Rosencrants) Smith. Dorothy attended school in Lexington. She was united in marriage to Rodney Haugh on April 27, 1950 in Lexington.
Dorothy enjoyed playing Bingo, going out to eat, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed antiques and spent most of her time alongside her husband buying and selling antiques.
Survivors include her children; Terry Haugh and his wife Traci of Kearney, Nebraska, Vicky Jenik and her husband Kyle of Thornton, Colorado and Jim Haugh and his wife Penny of Grand Island, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Chris Heine of Cozad, Nebraska and Betty Zoucha of Grand Island, Nebraska as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney; two sons, David and Donald and one brother, Bob Rosencrants.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington with Pastor Nathan Rhea officiating.
There will be no visitation as it was Dorothy’s wishes to be cremated.
