Mary A. Gray, 84, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington. She was born September 9, 1928, in Callaway, Nebraska, to Herb and Gertrude (McCreary) Liles. She graduated from Callaway High School. Mary was united in marriage to Harold Gray on May 1, 1948. The couple moved to Lexington in 1952. Mary enjoyed being a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her son: Ronnie (Susan) Gray of Lexington, Nebraska Daughter: Jeri (Wade) Dominey of Ocean Springs, Mississippi Grandchildren: Jared (Joy) Gray of Elm Creek, Nebraska, Jeremy (Ronny) Gray of Gibbon, Nebraska, Roger &Angelina Sattler of Lakewood, Colorado & Amber (Bryan) Newton of Brandon, Mississippi Step-Grandchildren: Michelle (Jeff) Flynn of Lexington, Gina (Brad) Holbrook of Kearney, Nebraska & Angie (Greg) Smit of Brandon, Wisconsin Ten great-grandchildren Three sisters: Margaret (Milan) Chrisman of Palmdale, California, Sandra Taylor of Grand Island, Nebraska & Pat Porter of Broken Bow, Nebraska Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold in 1994; granddaughter, Carly; two brothers & three sisters The family has honored Mary’s wishes for cremation. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Megan Morrow, officiating. Inurnment will be in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Lexington Volunteer Fire Department.
