Isabel Garcia, 77, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
She was born May 5, 1936, in Manuel Benabides, Chihauhua, Mexico, to Jose Rios Rivera and Dolores Galindo.
Isabel moved to the United States years ago and has made Nebraska her home for the last 45. She moved to Lexington and worked at IBP for 10 years prior to her retirement. She was united in marriage to Juan Molina Garcia on April 15, 1991, in Lexington.
She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, cooking and being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Isabel is survived by one son; Jose Rios of Lincoln, Nebraska; brothers, Ezequiel Rios Galindo of Lexington, Nebraska; Vicente Rios Galindo of McCayme, Texas; sisters, Maria De los Angeles Rios Galindo of New Mexico; Maria Del Socorro Rios Galindo of New Mexico; Alejandra Rios De Almeras Anthony of New Mexico; and, Conchita Munoz of Lexington, Nebraska; two grandsons, Billy Rios and Jonathan DeLeon Rios of Lexington, Nebraska; and, two great grandsons; Dallas and Dominique, both of Lexington, Nebraska. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan in 1992; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Burial will be with her husband in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
