Pauline Trowbridge, 90, of Cozad, Nebraska, formerly of Lexington, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, at the Cozad Community Hospital.
She was born December 11, 1922, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Sam and Della (Pitts) Hall.
Pauline attended Cozad Public Schools. Her working years found her working for the care home in Cozad and Nebraska Plastics in Cozad. But, her most cherished occupation was taking care of her five children. She also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her children; Larry Copass and Kenneth Copass both of Cozad, Nebraska; daughters, Diana Stoneking of Clinton, Missouri and Jolene Burrell of Concord, North Carolina; brother, Lawrence Hall of Cozad, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Elmo Copass and William Trowbridge; daughter, Debra; two grandchildren; and, one brother, Paul.
The family has honored Pauline’s wishes that her body be cremated.
A Memorial Graveside Inurnment Service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Cozad Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Mohler officiating.
