Denzel D. Mills, 74, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. Denzel was born August 24, 1933, at Eustis, Nebraska, the only child of Walter and Verla (Johnson) Mills. He lived in the Eustis and Cozad area until 1944, when the family purchased the farm east of Lexington where he lived until his marriage. He attended rural schools and graduated from Lexington High School in 1951. In 1955, he graduated from the college of Agriculture at the University of Nebraska and then served in the United States Army for two years. He held various sales positions before purchasing and operating Ace Termite and Pest Control.
