Kristina Leigh Anne Allen

Kristina Allen, 19, of Callaway, Nebraska, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in an automobile accident near Giltner, Nebraska. She was born June 12, 1993, in North Platte, Nebraska to David Allen and Ann Marie Dauel. Kristina attended grade school in Florida and middle school at Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She moved to Callaway in 2007, where she attended school and graduated with the class of 2012. Kristina was a beautiful young lady who was always active in school. She loved sports and excelled in volleyball, basketball, and track. She was a cheerleader, on the speech team, one-act play, and gymnastics. Kristina’s sparkling and giving personality led her to be in her church youth group and helping others by going on mission trips. She absolutely loved being with her family and friends. You never saw her without her IPod, a smile on her face or a hug for the people she cared for. Like all active teenage girls she loved to shop for clothes, not only for herself but for gifts as well. She had a strong work ethic and at the time of her death was attending Iowa Western Community College pursuing her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend who will never be forgotten. Kristina is survived by her mother and her mother’s fiancé; Ann Marie Stout and Lawrence Paulsen of Callaway, Nebraska; stepfather, Greg Stout of Colorado Springs, Colorado; biological father, David Allen of Missouri; brothers, Damien (Diamond) Allen of Dover, Delaware; G.W. “Cole” Stout of Callaway, Nebraska; Landen Paulsen of Callaway, Nebraska; sisters, Mattisen Stout of Callaway, Nebraska; Megan (Brad) Reed of North Platte, Nebraska; Olivia Paulsen of North Platte, Nebraska; grandparents; Don (Darlene) Allen of Overton, Nebraska; Gary Dauel of Gothenburg, Nebraska; Kent (Elaine) Cole of Alliance, Nebraska; nephew, Dalton Allen of Dover, Delaware, and niece, Kinlee Reed of North Platte, Nebraska; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many, many friends. Kristina was preceded in death by her great-grandparents. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Callaway, Nebraska with Reverend Roger Gillming officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 3-7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Callaway. Memorials are suggested to Kristina’s Family for later designation.
