Eva May Marie (Toomey) Hilker, 93, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Eva was born May 18, 1919, to Salem and Mahala (Pierson) Toomey, north of Holbrook, Nebraska, and grew up south of Arapahoe, Nebraska, on a farm. Eva enjoyed collecting dolls and being a part of the “Do Nothing” Club. She was also a faithful member of the Evangelical Free Church. Eva is survived by several close nieces and nephews; as well as grand-nieces and grand-nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Evangelical Free Church in Lexington with Pastor Duane Russell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Holbrook Cemetery in Holbrook, Nebraska.
