Paul G. Clouse, 45, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away from a stroke on October 11, 2012, at BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born June 28, 1967, in Kearney, Nebraska to Robert W. and Violet A. (Hladky) Clouse. After living a short time in Eddyville, Nebraska, Paul grew up in Callaway and graduated from Callaway High School, where he was active in art, drama, music, and swing choir. He played trumpet in the high school band and participated in football. After graduation, he pursued an art degree at Kearney State College. He currently resided in Dallas, Texas, where he worked as a successful illustrator, caricature, and graphic artist which allowed him to travel to many parts of the country, sharing his talents nationwide. Survivors include his sister; Mary (Wally) Woltemath of Lexngton, NE; brother, Anthony Clouse of Portland, OR; brother, Peter (Susie Jo) Clouse of Minneapolis, MN; and sister, Maria (Larry) Beucke of Kearney, NE. He also leaves behind nine nieces and nephews, and eight grand-nieces and nephews, all of whom he greatly adored. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Theresa Clouse, and brother, John. The family honored Paul’s wishes for cremation. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Neal Nollette officiating. Inurnment will be held later in the day at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery near Eddyville, Nebraska. Wake and rosary will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. All are welcome to attend and share fond and funny memories of Paul. Memorials are suggested to your local Humane Society, BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln or the charity of your choice.
