Carolina Faudoa Saenz, 72, of Lexington, Nebraska, formerly of Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at her home in Lexington.
She was born April 15, 1940, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Enrique and Carolina (Rodriguez) Faudoa. She attended school in Mexico and was married to Fidel Saenz in Mexico.
Carolina moved to Lexington in 2000 after the death of her husband to be near her family. She absolutely adored her 25 grandchildren and helped take care of them when their parents were working. She enjoyed music and dancing, playing card games and bingo. Her joy was going out to eat and spending time with the family. Carolina always had a huge smile and a warm word for all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include one son: Manuel (Elizabeth) Saenz of Chihuahua, Mexico
Six daughters: Martha (Mario) Barraza of Lexington, Nebraska
Carolina Saenz of Platteview, Texas
Griselda (Antonio) Saenz of Lexington, Nebraska
Angelica Saenz of Lexington, Nebraska
Hilda Saenz of Lexington, Nebraska
Jesenia (Jorge) Zamora of Lexington, Nebraska
Special Friend: Erik Lopez of Lexington, Nebraska
Carolina is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fidel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Jorge Canela officiating.
Burial will be held in Cementerio Valle de Zaragoza, Mexico at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church Wednesday.
